This is an ancestral technique from Polynesia.

This massage is performed with a variety of movements of the thumbs, hands, fist, forearms and elbows in order to draw wide kneading and smoothing movements in a rhythmic and fluid way, which simulates a “wave” effect in the body by releasing areas of the body blocked by tension.

This massage is sometimes nicely called “the massage dance” and is as wonderful to receive as it is to give.
